Walls Project : Community Revitalization

Saturday, January 13th from 8:00am to Monday, January 15th, 2024 12:00pm

About

About the Event:

The Walls Project MLK Fest will aim volunteers toward community cleanup. This includes painting houses and a basketball court, planting shrubs/trees, and participating in storm preparedness cleanup at multiple locations within the Eden Park area. The goal is to offer revitalization support, expand cultural awareness, and build community morale.

About the Organization:

The Walls Project was established in 2012 and pursues areas of need where services and programming do not exist or are cost-prohibitive for certain segments of the population. Their approach combines creative community reactivation efforts and strategic educational programming to inspire community pride for residents and businesses.
