Man ex Machina is an intimate cyber lecture created by interdisciplinary artist Venelin Shurelov (Bulgaria). Colliding installation, video, performance, and lecture, the piece imagines an evolving relationship between human beings and technology ultimately leading to the creation of fantastical hybrid beings. These new creatures simultaneously mark and dismantle the boundaries between the human and the technological, between being born and being made, and between fact and fiction.
