Saturday, May 25th, 2024 from 1:30pm to 3:30pm (CT)
This has ended. If you attended, let the organizer know by recording your Impact!

The Red Line Parkway Initiative will lead a walking tour of taquerias from the Parkway on Saturday, May 25. We will meet at 1:30 at the Plaza Saltillo MetroBike Station. Our goal is for participants to see how easy it is to use the Parkway to get around the city and explore some of the amazing things Austin has to offer. Volunteers are needed to help manage the group and keep everyone together.

The Red Line Parkway Initiative is a non-profit organization dedicated to building a vibrant trail and linear park along the CapMetro Red Line, connecting Downtown Austin, Cedar Park, and Leander. Some sections, such as the one along Airport Blvd. directly in front of ACC Highland, are already open to the public and enjoyed by neighbors from all walks of life. Our goal is to unite partners and communities to plan, fund, build, and activate dedicated spaces for cyclists and pedestrians along the Parkway. This Parkway will provide car-free transportation options that are accessible to ALL members of the community, while fighting the effects of climate change.
