Schmieding Kids First Clinic in Lowell is excited to announce this year’s Special Olympics: Young Athletes event! The event is scheduled for Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm. Kids First is looking for a minimum of 30 volunteers to help move children from the Kids First Clinic to the event field, encourage the children to participate in each activity safely, and then monitor the transition back into the clinic. Kids First is also seeking donations of small bottles of water for each of our 50 children for this event.

Schmieding Kids First is a comprehensive early intervention program of excellence for infants and young children who have special health care needs. Services at Schmieding Kids First clinics are tailored to meet the individual needs of a child with health monitoring, preventive health care, therapeutic services, developmental intervention and family support. With that in mind, keeping them safe while having fun is of utmost importance.
