This early season workday will focus on brushing back encroaching vegetation and improving the tread surface between Spooner Summit North and the North Canyon Trail in the Spooner Backcountry of Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park. We’ll meet at Spooner Summit and hike approximately 4.2 miles to the North Canyon Trail junction, carrying tools and working as we go. Then we’ll hike about 1.5 miles down to the North Canyon Road where vehicles will meet us to shuttle us back to Spooner Summit. There is likely to be some remnant snow pack on trail, so be prepared to cross snow-covered slopes.
Please register your information, including emergency contact on the Social Website above.
