Description
The community meal is a come one, come all family style dinner that is free to our community. Every Tuesday members of the community can expect something different from the South Side Roots kitchen or enjoy meals provided by a local caterer.

DUTIES INCLUDE: Serving guests their dinner and beverages in a friendly manner to create a welcoming environment. Engaging with community members to ensure an overall gratifying experience. Minor cleaning duties; Cleaning tables, sweeping floors, etc. Assisting the kitchen team with cleaning and closing the kitchen including washing dishes, mopping floors, etc.
Requirements
Attire should be something casual, comfortable and that can get dirty. For safety purposes, we cannot allow volunteers to wear open toed shoes, sandals, or loose jewelry/clothing.
Parking DetailsWe are located within the Reeb Avenue Center at 280 Reeb Avenue Columbus, Ohio 43207. Parking is available on the street, so be mindful of city parking regulations-(The Mid-Ohio Foodbank will not be responsible for any permits issued). South Side Roots is three blocks west of Parsons from the COTA’s #4 bus line.
