Description
Volunteers are needed to help in a multitude of ways for our Firefly Fling Festival. Help is need for set-up, clean-up, as well as check-in. The Botanical Garden of the Ozarks will become an exciting land of imagination as Firefly Fling descends upon the gardens on Saturday, July 15 from 6pm-10pm. The Firefly Fling is a highly anticipated midsummer event, featuring nature and play activities for adults and children. Before dark, community groups will offer engaging and fun activities like fairy house building, photo booth, obstacle course, giant bubbles, nature stations, crafts, and more! Throughout the evening, the gardens will be filled with fairies, musicians, and storytellers. After dark, families may participate in glowing games and then gather on the lawn for glow-in-the-dark performances and fire dancing. Guests may bring blankets and picnics but food trucks will be selling food as well. The Firefly Shoppe will have fairy wings, wands, glow sticks, and other festival items! Bring a little cash so that you build a fairy costume and even decorate your own fairy wings!
