Description
Soul Cinema is where the community comes together to screen thought provoking Afro-Centric topics, learn critical social issues, and engage in dialogue.

Help is needed to set-up and tear down screening room and to set up refreshments. You are not required to stay for screening
Set up generally takes one hour and tear down generally 30 minutes.

The film we will screen is Resurrecting Black Wall Street – The Blueprint explores the foundations of the Greenwood section of Tulsa Oklahoma and the atrocity committed against black American citizens during the early part of the 20th century. The film extrapolates the implications of these tragic events to resurrect the ideas that led to the creation of one of the most prosperous black communities in American history.
