MBCC will again join churches across the city of Memphis participating in Jesus Loves Memphis on Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 9am-1pm. We will participate in community service throughout the city, including serving breakfast at the Union Mission, Joint MBCC/MPD Community Block Party, sorting and packing at the Mid-South Food Bank and providing free flu shots. Volunteers must register for their volunteer event. Please do not show up at a site without registering. There are limitations at some sites on the number of volunteers.
Liability Waiver & Release - Volunteers must read and agree to the following liability waiver & release prior to submitting a registration form to volunteer for the signup events.
By submitting this volunteer registration, I do hereby release, hold harmless, and discharge Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church, its officers, agents, employees and volunteers from any and all liability for injury to my person, damage to my property, or death, whether or not such liability is based upon allegations of negligence while participating in this event. I acknowledge that working in the area of roads, working in indoor spaces as well as other volunteer activities can be hazardous and that I accept the risks associated with these volunteer activities. I will follow all safety regulations and guidelines. In addition, I have taken all necessary action to ensure that my health condition does not present a danger to me or others while performing volunteer activities during this event.
I also grant Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church and its agents the right to use my picture and/or voice and other reproductions of my physical likeness obtained during this volunteer event in the promotion and advertisement of MBCC events.
Children under 17 must be accompanied by an adult.
