Volunteer will meet Feed Communities staff at the Feed Communities office between 9:00AM and 9:10AM and go together in Feed Communities vehicle to pick up produce from our community partner, Harp's Grocery on Mission and Crossover. Produce must be picked up no later than 9:30 AM each Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning.
Volunteer will help load and unload produce into Feed Communities vehicle. Boxes contain up to 50 lbs. of produce.
Upon returning to the Feed Communities facility volunteers will assist with unloading, sorting and weighing the produce, assist with reloading newly sorted produce and deliver to area pantries, community centers, shelters and churches.
*****In the event of inclement weather, Feed Communities will cancel if Fayetteville Public Schools are closed and the volunteer event is cancelled. You can contact our office the next day 479-966-4790 to see if we will have a make up shift.
