House of Hope Rescue Mission is a Day Shelter for the homeless and needy.  We provide a shelter from the cold or heat and a hot meal to anyone in need.  Clients have access to showers and laundry facilities, clothes from our closet and food from our pantry. 

Don't worry, if you can't volunteer for a full day, we'd love to have you for the hours you are available. 

There are multiple ways to volunteer at the House of Hope:

Be a Greeter
Work in the Food Pantry: Stock shelves, prepare food bags
Help clients with laundry
Prepare meals to serve
Serve meals to clients
Clean up after lunch
Assist clients in finding needed clothing for day to day wear or job interviews
Assist clients on computers (as available) to search for jobs
Come to socialize with clients and be a friendly face
Offer to assist with Bible studies
Be available in the children's room to play and read.
