Trip Description:
This trip will last from approximately 9:30am-12:00pm.
Third grade students will have the opportunity to participate in an arts-focused field trip on the University of Georgia campus. This program will include a live performance by the UGA Children’s Theatre Troupe, made up of UGA students. The show this year will focus on educating children about the cultures in South America. The plot will follow a little boy and his trusty alpaca as they accidently get sent back in time and have to find their way back home. The basis of the play will come from both folklore and historical information. Audience participation will be emphasized through song, chanting, repeating, and noise making. This trip also will include an interactive activity on how to create your own animation or story, using sock puppets.
