We're in the optimal time of year for getting outside to do some volunteering! The sun's been out and much of the understory is going dormant. This is a great time for cleaning out invasive species and picking up litter in the Greenbelt.

We'll be working in the Shoal Creek Greenbelt on Friday 12/8 afternoon from 1:00pm to 3:30pm. The plan is to meet near 29th & Lamar, more specifically the large field at the southwest corner of the intersection. Parking is available at the Lamar Senior Activity Center across the street.

PPC will provide tools, gloves, and volunteer leadership. All we ask is that you bring water, close-toed shoes, and clothes that can get a little dirty.

Hope to see you out there!
