Thank you for your interest in the 2018 Athens MLK Day of Service! Below you will find details about the Day of Service and this specific project.
Kick-off Celebration: 8:30AM - 9:30AM at the Clarke Central High School gymnasium (350 S. Milledge Avenue).
Volunteer Shift: 10:00AM - 1:00PM at the Beech Haven Tract (parking available at 2390 W. Broad St).
Volunteers will aid in the ongoing restoration of the Beech Haven Tract, a 100-acre plot of land that has been largely undisturbed since 1911. Volunteer work will include planting 600 trees, and removing invasive plant species.
Children under 18 should be registered by their parent/guardian.
We are not able to accommodate large group registrations. If you have a group that would like to volunteer at the same site, each individual must separately register through Engage Georgia.
