Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the 9th annual Young Aces Open event! This day is sure to be full of fun activities with Richmond's youth. The Young Aces Open takes place at the Mary and Frances Youth Center. Volunteer duties range from setup and breakdown to court monitor and activity station leaders.

Mary and Frances Youth Center is located between the Cary St Gym and Cary St Field.

Please arrive a few minutes prior to the time you sign up for so you can sign-in and be given directions for your assignment!

**We will notify you by e-mail 24 hours prior to the event if the event is moved indoors due to rain. If you do not have transportation to get to the rain location, please notify us ASAP when this is announced so that we can plan accordingly**

Requirement Details
Volunteers will be working with elementary 4th and 5th graders, must be 16 & up.
Perks
For those that volunteer for two or more shifts, lunch will be provided.

Paid street parking can be found along Cary Street near the field or you can pay to park in the Cary St. parking deck on Harrison St.

Swag Table Leaders9:15am (ET)10:15am (ET)Your job will be to take a ticket from each youth that comes to the swag table, letting them have their choice of one item on the table. Youth will also put their name on the water bottles at this table.4/4Over
Court Monitors9:45am (ET)12:30pm (ET)Your job is to watch the tennis match on one court and keep track of the points of each game. If there is any confusion during play, seek out a court marshall. We will start with a 15 minute court monitor training prior to starting the tournament.16/30Over
Fit4Kids Station Assistants10:00am (ET)12:30pm (ET)Your job will be to assist the Fit4Kids and VCU ASPiRE run a tennis trivia and water relay activity on the basketball court. You will work directly with the youth to engage in the activities and assist the station leaders as needed.6/6Over
Hoop Lovers RVA Station Assistants10:00am (ET)12:30pm (ET)Your job will be to assist the Hoop Lovers RVA with the hula hoop dance station on the field. You will work directly with youth to help them stay engaged in the activity and the activity leaders as needed.4/4Over
USTA Net Generation Station10:00am (ET)12:30pm (ET)You job will be to assist the USTA/Mid-Atlantic staff on the tennis courts as they promote tennis through their new platform, Net Generation. You will work directly with youth to engage in the tennis activities on court.4/4Over
