Literacy Day 2018

Saturday, March 3rd, 2018 from 9:30am to 3:00pm (ET)

Literacy Day is an annual event sponsored by the Landis Center. The primary focus of this community-oriented event is to promote enthusiasm for reading and other types of literacy. Approximately 40 students from the Easton community will come to the Lafayette campus and participate in various literacy activities based on the book "There's No Place Like Space: All About Our Solar System" by Tish Rabe. The book exemplifies themes of curiosity and creativity which provide a wonderful basis for a fun-filled day celebrating literacy. There are multiple volunteering options available.

Please keep in mind that all-day volunteers MUST attend a mandatory orientation Friday, March 2nd at 4:15 pm. An email reminder will be sent out closer to the event.
