May EcoHour

Tuesday, May 15th, 2018 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm (ET)

About

Join us Tuesday May 15 for DC EcoWomen's signature EcoHour at Teaism in Penn Quarter with the Founder and Executive Director of the Center for Spirituality in Nature, Beth Norcross. Come learn about how engaging in meaningful experiences in nature can provide the time and space for those who want spiritual connection to be a more regular part of their lives. We'll talk about what the natural world means to us in our hectic day-to-day lives and share resources and practices to help center ourselves in nature on a more regular basis.

Beth Norcross founded and directs the Center for Spirituality in Nature, which offers experiences in nature that open individuals to a lived, loving connection with the Spirit and the natural world. Beth brings to her current work extensive experience in the environmental field, as staff for the US Senate Parks Subcommittee and as Vice President of Conservation for American Rivers. She is also the co-founder of the Green Seminary Initiative, is adjunct professor at Wesley Theological Seminary and has written numerous articles and curricula related to ecology and faith.
