PawsWatch is Rhode Island's only community cat advocacy group. They have been around for 20+ years, and in that time have spayed, neutered and provided life-saving veterinary services to well over 20,000 outdoor, free-roaming cats. They have also found loving homes for many of them.

Beginning this summer, PawsWatch is undertaking a new and ambitious program: The Providence Project. Their goal is to spay and neuter all of the city's estimated 15,000 free-roaming cats. They've been on the front-page of the Providence Journal for one of their recent rescue stories. PawsWatch would love to connect with cat lovers from the Brown Community to form a Brown chapter of PawsWatch.
