Anacostia River Explorer Tour

Wednesday, July 11th, 2018 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm

Join DC EcoWomen to learn about the Anacostia River’s history, wildlife, the environmental threats it faces, and the solutions helping to realize its full potential.  The guided motorboat tour will be led by a riverkeeper from Anacostia Riverkeeper.

Anacostia Riverkeeper is an advocacy organization working to restore the Anacostia River and create opportunities for the community to connect to the river.

The tour will depart and return to the Diamond Teague Park boat dock.  The tour will take place on an open-air motorboat so please dress appropriately for the weather.  The tour should last up to two hours and attendees are encouraged to bring water and snacks.
