Harvest Moon is a farm-to-table dinner in a beautiful setting that supports the work and mission of Athens Land Trust. Harvest Moon will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at our own Williams Farm. Volunteer opportunities include event set-up, dinner service, and event support. Serving experience not required, but can be helpful.
Volunteers are expected to stay through the duration of their shift. Set-up volunteers should wear clothing and shoes they don't mind doing minor lifting and maintenance work in (read: no open toed shoes). Volunteers who sign up to volunteer during dinner are asked to wear appropriate attire, recommendations for appropriate attire forthcoming. Volunteers who sign up for the server shift do not have to have prior service experience, however, if volunteers do have serving experience that would be a strong plus.
