We'll be working through pallets of donated books we've received over the past year in order to get ready for our big Annual Book Sale! Your help at these events is absolutely pivotal to what we do here at Books for Keeps since our book sale is one of the biggest fundraisers we host each year! Without your help at these shifts, there's absolutely no way we would be able to unpack and table the tens of THOUSANDS of books that will be at the sale! The Book Sale is also great opportunity for us to speak with the community in a different way other than just in the schools we serve. 

A Books for Keeps staff member will provide a quick orientation for everybody right around 1:00pm as the group arrives onsite. Things to remember prior to your volunteer shift!

  • Be sure to wear weather appropriate clothing.
  • We do have water bottles for volunteers but we still encourage folks to bring their own as well!
  • Please be sure to wear closed toed shoes to your shift!
  • Be ready to have fun! :D

This volunteer session will be held at the book sale site at 1055 Gaines School Road, between Mannaweenta and the new Aldi location.
