About

Join us at the “Historic Browning Hangar” at Mueller on Saturday, April 26th, 2014, noon-6pm. The festival highlights our diversity of Austin culture with a huge variety of music and entertainment, along with speakers, demonstrations, exhibitors, entertainment for kids, food trailers and more.

Austin Earth Day Festival 2014 is produced in partnership with Mueller Austin, “Austin’s sustainable mixed-use urban village”, and many partners representing the Austin area environmental community. Working with partners Balcones Resources and Compost Pedallers, this will be a Zero Waste event that will divert a minimum of 90% of discards through recycling and composting. Also, Community Partners, Aquasana, Inc. will provide superior filtered water, so make sure to BYOB…(Bottles, that is!)

The Earth Day Austin festival is sponsored this year by: HEB, Balcones Resources, City of Austin Office of Sustainability, Austin Energy’s Green Choice, City of Austin Code Compliance, Save Barton Creek Association, Austin Water, Project Connect, Mueller and more, along with media sponsors, Austin American Statesman, Austin Chronicle, KUT and TWC News.
