This is the third annual Green Fest Austin, a family-friendly green festival held at Clint Small, Jr. Middle School - Green Tech Academy campus the last weekend in September, which is also the USGBC Green Apple Day of Service. Green Fest Austin is a community celebration of "all things green" and showcases successful practices and programs at green schools in the central Texas area, as well as environmental products and services available to our community that help families and businesses support environmental stewardship. This is a community, family-friendly, non-smoking, zero-waste event open to the public and takes place both outside and inside the Small Middle School campus. The event is also a C.A.T.C.H (Coordinated Approach to Children's Health) Family Fun Night. We expect 600-1000 participants at this year's festival. The event has been described as Blues on the Green meets Armadillo Christmas Bazaar for a Funky Chicken Coop Tour!
