About

We believe that every child should have the opportunity to love healthy foods. We believe that every child has the potential to desire healthier food options and to have more ownership of their food choices.

Farm Lab is a field trip that builds enthusiasm around fresh fruits and reconnects kids with where their food comes from. Apple Seeds hosts students in our garden where the students are engaged in activities that correlate with what they are learning in the classroom. Grade-specific school standards in math, science and literacy are woven into an investigation of gardens, life, and food systems in an exciting interactive environment. The field trip includes a harvest and garden snack that promotes nutrition and healthy choices.

Learning comes alive for students during this exciting field trip.

We need assistants to help station leaders and guide students through the activities. There are leadership opportunities for students interested in recurring volunteer shifts.

Come join the fun!
