Registration Info: Visit or call 301-546-0519 for more information. Volunteers are needed during the fall and spring semesters. To volunteer for the Children's Developmental Clinic, you must register for OCC-334 or OCC-327 and attend at least one of two pre-clinic training sessions which, for the Fall 2018 semester, will take place on Saturday, September 8th and Saturday, September 15th from 8:30am-12:30pm. You may register in advance or at one of the pre-clinic training sessions. Prior to working with any children, volunteers are required to complete fingerprinting and a criminal background check. Prince George's Community College will provide these services to the volunteers at no cost, as part of their pre-clinic training.

CDC Info: The Children’s Developmental Clinic is a community service program that is conducted by the Workforce Development and Continuing Education division at Prince George's Community College. The clinic provides a special service to children who are experiencing various developmental difficulties such as learning problems, physical fitness and coordination problems, language delays, emotional problems or orthopedic challenges. During the sessions, children participate in one-to-one, individualized motor development training. If additional assistance is needed, children can be enrolled in the language program at the clinic.
