Description
Yanaguana Fest is a one-day cultural arts and music festival that features different genres of live music, live painting, an artisan alley, food, crafts, and vendors. Our ultimate goal is to spread cultural awareness to our youth and provide a safe and family-friendly event that fosters community building and dialogue around mental health, substance abuse, domestic abuse, and sobriety. We understand the struggles the youth face today are some of the same struggles our people’s have always endured. Our efforts are to show the future leaders of tomorrow to be proud of their cultural heritage and that they too can overcome life’s obstacles and find healing through the arts. Our lineup will showcase an array of San Anto talents. We want local artists to encourage our youth to follow their passions for the arts, highlighting positive and professional role models in the industry. Proving once again, to our children that self-healing and growth can come from music and ancestral traditions.
