GAiN Mission Packing Project

Saturday, November 10th, 2018 from 8:30am to 4:30pm (ET)

About

Please join us on Saturday, November 10 and help relieve suffering, restore dignity, and reveal hope as we prepare humanitarian aid for people in some of the toughest places on earth.

The November Mission Packing Project at our GAiN Logistics Center - 1506 Quarry Rd, Mount Joy, PA 17552 will involve hundreds of volunteers both Friday and Saturday, Nov 9&10. Though it is possible for LU students to attend on Friday, we plan to arrange transportation for at least 14 Lincoln University students to participate on Saturday 11/10.

We will gather to leave campus by 8:30 AM Saturday morning, and will aim return to campus by 4:30 PM. Individuals and groups with their own transportation are welcome to arrive or leave whenever they wish. Please bring a bag lunch, or cash to purchase a meal from a food truck on site. Groups may choose to order lunch (pizza, subs, etc...) for delivery from area restaurants. We can share more information about that option when you arrive.

To participate in any volunteer activities at the GAiN Logistics Center, you must complete a liability waiver. Once we have registered as an LU group, we will email everyone instructions to complete that simple form online.
For your safety, closed-toe shoes are required in order to serve at the GAiN Logistics Center (no flip-flops or sandals).

We look forward to meeting you. Thanks for joining us to serve people in some of the toughest places on earth through Global Aid Network.
