The weather is beautiful! We'll hope you'll join us outside this month for a little trail work. Every 3rd Friday of each month, we gather a group of Shoal Creek trail lovers to address critical needs along the creek and trail and to enjoy a celebratory drink. We invite you to join us for a special 3rd Friday workday on November 21, 2014.
Project: This month, we'll finish distributing native seed balls and do a little weeding to remove unwanted species in preparation for a wildlfower-filled spring along Shoal Creek near West 6th. We'll also do some general trash pickup in the area, both along the trail and at the street level of the historic West 6th Street bridge over Shoal Creek. If you are interested in learning more about seed balls, visit the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center's website.
Questions? Please contact Joanna at firstname.lastname@example.org or 512-474-2412. We welcome school and business groups to join us at this workday. Please contact us for details.
Look forward to seeing you there!
Please bring a water bottle with water and wear sturdy shoes. We'll provide gloves, trash pickers, seed balls and all other tools needed.
