Texas Advocacy Project has an opening for a qualified volunteer or intern who will actively work to bolster the social media presence of the Project. This person will gain the opportunity to learn about communications in a nonprofit organization, sharpen their social media skills, and work for a great cause.
Reports to: Development and Communications Deputy Director
•Research, analyze, and report on the social media efforts of similar agencies and of our partnering organizations.
•Look for new ways to cross promote and share relevant information with our social media circles.
•Write, review, and edit social media posts with input from TAP staff.
•Assist in preparing monthly social media and communications calendar.•Identify potential opportunities for fundraising and outreach.
Time Commitment: 5 – 10 hours per week, schedule is flexible.
Texas Advocacy Project will work with your program’s requirements for course credit.
