Evening Holiday Open House

We need volunteers to assist with setting up, decorating, and running the Rinard Orchid Greenhouse's Annual Evening Holiday Open House. As part of Ball State University's Cultural Corridor, our goal is to provide a welcoming and educational event for the holidays to the BSU family and surrounding communities. In the week prior to the event, we need volunteers to assist in cleaning and decorating the greenhouse with holiday decor, as well as to prepare and arrange plants. On the night of the event, we need volunteers to assist in setting up and lighting our luminaria displays from the greenhouse to the art museum on campus, and to help guide visitors, serve refreshments, take photos and surveys, and assist in cleanup.
We strongly recommend having warm clothing the night of the event, since some activities take place outdoors.
