The Texas Hunger Initiative is looking for a Mapping Guru! Do you know ArchGIS? Are you interested in helping to create a more food secure Austin? Join us in creating a new resource for the Austin community. This project is in collaboration with the Austin/Travis County Health and Human Services Department in fulfillment of the Community Health Improvement Plan (C.H.I.P.) for the City of Austin 2014-2015. This position is available as a for credit internship/ non-credit internship/ volunteer opportunity.
- STRONG comprehension of of data mapping fundamentals and application of ESRI's ArchGIS 10.2 for Desktop.
- Proficient in Windows Office - Specifically Excel
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
- Willing and able to commit 10-15 hours per week for the Spring 2015 Semester
