Before the training, participants should plan for the following:
Prepare a short presentation 2 – 4 minutes that you would use to introduce your organization in a group setting. Consider these five questions to help you prepare: Why does your organization exist? What do you do? How do you do it? What special resources help differentiate your organization from similar non-profits? (i.e. people and their credentials, or support from a larger national non-profit, or tools or facilities etc.) What is it about the experience you provide to your constituents that makes your organization different?
