Wish Granting 101

Tuesday, November 27th, 2018 from 5:00pm to 8:30pm (CT)

About

The wish children we serve are the center of our mission. And YOU can help fulfill our mission of granting wishes to children with critical illnesses by becoming a wish-granting volunteer. Wish granting volunteers act as liaisons between the Make-A-Wish office and the wish families. They meet with the prospective family to determine the child's wish and then reveal to the child that their wish is coming true. Wish Granters are required to complete a volunteer application, attend a training, complete a background check and work on at least one wish per year.

Wish Granting 101 gives prospective volunteers the opportunity to learn more about Make-A-Wish Mid-South, the wish process and the exciting steps to making wishes come true.

Registration for training is required to ensure adequate training materials and seating are provided.
