Do you have a hard time describing your professional goals and interests? Join DC EcoWomen on December 15 for a professional development workshop to learn how to build your brand in today's workforce. The workshop will include a professional branding seminar from Lea Berry, Lead Coach of Berry Coaching and Consulting. As lead coach, she facilitates individual and group programs that build the mindset and skill set necessary to stand out in today's job market. The second speaker, Shenneth Dove-Morse, will showcase an example of what building your own brand can look like. Shenneth uses her expertise in content marketing, social media strategy, and public relations to help individuals, web publications, nonprofits, and business owners meet their strategic communications goals.

Date: Saturday, December 15

Location information: Quaker Meeting House, 2111 Florida Ave NW, Washington, DC 20008. The Meeting House is only 0.3 miles walking distance from the Dupont Circle metro (red line) and there is some unlimited off-street parking nearby. We will be in the Decatur Room on the ground floor. The venue is environmentally responsible -- they compost and a portion of their electricity is generated by solar panels on their roof.
Accessibility: The Decatur Room is on the ground floor. There is a portable ramp that provides access to our ground floor, and there is a wheelchair accessible restroom on that floor.

Speaker Bios:

Lea Berry
Lea is a life & career coach for purpose-driven millennials. Lea is an avid network builder who specializes in coaching millennials on how to find, land, and succeed at their dream professions or businesses using their strengths and personal mission. Lea brings a professional background navigating the D.C. job market in foreign diplomacy, government affairs and consulting. When she isn't coaching or speaking, Lea can be found having fun with her husband Roger and 1-year-old daughter.

Shenneth Dove-Morse
Shenneth Dove-Morse is a results-driven communications leader with extensive experience in account management, content strategy, digital marketing, strategic communications, and public relations. Over the past twelve years, Shenneth has served government and commercial clients across varied industries such as transportation, healthcare, education, among others. Shenneth honed her communications skills by interning at global PR agencies during her undergraduate studies at Howard University in Washington, DC.  She has held in-house communications roles and marketing and communications roles in Washington, DC and her hometown, Philadelphia, PA. Shenneth is currently a Content Strategist at the DC based visual communications company, Maga Design. She was previously an Account Executive at the Alexandria, VA based marketing agency, Yes& (formerly PCI Communications). Shenneth continues to expand on her personal brand through creative endeavors such as blogging, leading craft workshops for Distill Creative (a creative experiential agency), and participating in local creative and cultural events in Washington, DC.
