Description
Opus Care of Texas is a team of professionals who provide patients and their families excellence in hospice care and support services when faced with a terminal illness. As a vital member of the team, our volunteers enhance the quality of life for our patients. Volunteers bring an array of special skills and talents to share with patients, and offer comfort and support through companionship visits. As a volunteer, your participation within our care team can include companionship to the patient as well as respite relief to the primary caregiver of the patient, providing pet/music therapy visits, knitting or even playing board games. Join our Opus Care team and make a difference! There may be other duties for hospice volunteers depending on our patients and their family's needs. No matter what skills you possess, Opus Care of Texas will find the best fit for you, your time and talent!

Requirements
Background Check, Drug Screening, and a TB Test is required for all volunteers.
