About
Volunteer shifts typically occur on Saturdays during the school year. You will find three types of shifts:
- Book Sorting -- Open to volunteers as young as 5 and involves sorting and boxing books.
- Book Inventory -- Open to volunteers as young as 14 and involves preparing and palletizing books for recipient schools.
- Community Partners' Library -- Open to volunteers as young as 14 and involves shelving, cataloging, and fulfilling orders of books.

*Book Inventory Shifts and Community Partners' Library shifts are open to volunteers 14 years old and up*
Volunteer Requirements for Minors:
* Children over the age of 5 are welcome during book sorting shifts
* All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
* For student groups, please provide 1 adult to supervise every 2 children under age 10 and 1 adult for every 5 children ages 10 through 15.
