This hike will be focusing on how to use iNaturalist ahead of the City Nature Challenge! We will be hiking next to the creek so please be prepared to get a little wet. Please wear closed toed shoes and long pants and come prepared with water and sun protection.
What is the city nature challenge?
Cities around the world will be competing to see who can make the most observations of nature, find the most species, and engage the most people in the 2019 City Nature Challenge.
How can you participate?

Find Wildlife
It can be any plant, animal, fungi, slime mold, or any other evidence of life (scat, fur, tracks, shells, carcasses!) found in your participating city.
Take a Picture of What you Find
Be sure to note the location of the critter or plant.

By uploading your findings through iNaturalist

Hello all! This event was originally scheduled for March 2nd, but has been postponed until March 10th (Sunday), same hours, 5-7pm. We will have an additional hour of daylight. Keep your fingers crossed for great weather!
