About
Come out and explore Bull Creek with us!
It's November and the Warblers have long since flown south, so come to the Forest Ridge Preserve and take a peek into the world of the Bull Creek Preserve. The hike is a little under three miles and considered moderate for some hills and rocky terrain. This hike features some lovely riparian habitat as well as a beautiful view of Bull Creek Valley.
Please wear closed toed shoes and long pants and bring water and sun protection.
Also, please take note of the address notes (Above). The meeting location is the large, unpaved parking lot at the base of the preserve's gate. The road to access the lot is called "Winding Ridge," just off 360 southbound. You can search "winding ridge blvd" on Google Maps and find the very short road. If you are on the side with the restroom, you will need to return to 360 and take the other entrance for which there is a street sign. The closure of the low water crossing no longer allows you to cut across to the other parking lot.

Good afternoon! We have wonderful weather for today's hike! The hike is a little over a mile and is about 200 feet in elevation. Mostly the trail is easy but there are two places that are a bit rocky so please wear closed toed shoes. I'm in a black tee shirt and I'm short with short brown/gray hair. I'll be by the z gate at the preserve and my number is (717) 439-7762 in case you have questions. See you all at 3:00!
