Porch Counselor

The Porch Counselor will be responsible for sharing community resources with our guests. There is training and a resource manual provided. This position allows you to sit with our guests and hear their story, to make eye contact and learn their name, to share community resources and build a trusting relationship. Having compassion and patience are a must, but you don't have to be a professional counselor or social worker. You will need to be trained in advance.
