Description
THIS OPPORTUNITY IS FOR PCC FACULTY ONLY

Winter term opportunities for collaborations and Community-Based Learning between PCC Faculty and the Rock Creek Learning Garden! For more info check out our website.

Whether you teach science, language, arts, math, creative writing, or any subject at PCC, garden-based learning can be a great way to integrate classroom learning into the real world for your students. The Learning Garden can also provide a great venue for students to get to know each other in a relaxed environment and practice team-building skills.

*If you're interested in a one-time garden orientation and tour, a work activity for your PCC class or assigning volunteer hours for credit, please contact me: miriam.latzer@pcc.edu

Please spread the word: Learning Garden Volunteer Hours for Winter Term will remain: Tues., Wed., Thurs. 9am-1pm.

*If you're interested in scheduling a one-time hands-on, interactive campus-wide tour that will touch on a variety of sustainability efforts, or a baking demonstration using the cob oven, please contact Elaine Cole, Sustainability Coordinator: elaine.cole16@pcc.edu
