Project Description
Volunteers will aid in the ongoing restoration of the Beech Haven Tract, a 100 acre plot of land that has been largely undisturbed since 1911. Specifically for MLK Day of Service, volunteers will be partaking in planting 400 trees and 700 grass plugs as well as the removal of invasive plants.
  • This site is kid-friendly for ages 6+.
  • Volunteers should bring a reusable water bottle.
  • Volunteers should wear close-toed shoes, long pants, long sleeves and come dressed to get dirty.
Registration Notes
Children under 18 should be registered by their parent/guardian. All volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
We are not able to accommodate large group registrations. If you have a group that would like to volunteer at the same site, each individual must separately register through Engage Georgia.
