Description | Green Corn Project is an Austin-based non-profit that educates people on organic vegetable gardening by installing and replanting vegetable gardens for central Texans with limited access to good food. Dig-In Leaders are Green Corn Project's most valuable contributors! The more Dig-In Leaders we have, the more people we can help. In this half-day intensive training, we'll discuss our organization and how we operate as well as a hands-on training of our gardening methodology. After completing the training, you can accompany a current dig-in leader as many times as you like until you're ready to lead a team yourself. Gardening experience is welcome but not required - just dress appropriately for the weather and bring water. For more information, please visit: http://greencornproject.org/. |
