EVENT: Freedom Ladder is hosting 4 fashion show gala to benefit the work we do protecting children. (Check it out online: www.freedomladder.org) The events will be on February 14, 16, 29, and 21 and will feature 3 fashion shows, free-trade Chocolate Desserts, food & drink, DJ at a premiere NYC event venue.

ABOUT US: Freedom Ladder is an organization dedicated to making the world safer for young people through popular entertainment. We created a comic book, "Abolitionista!," with the help of the FBI, to educate young people about the threat of human trafficking and empower them to protect themselves. There is an estimated 100,000-300,000 American children trafficked every year into the sex industry and the number is growing. The purpose of the comic book is to reach them before they're victimized.

ROLE: We are looking for volunteers to assist in...

planning/producing the fashion event
social media promotion
sponsorship solicitation
in-kind donation solicitation (chocolate desserts)
running the event clean-up

COMMITMENT: Freedom Ladder will create a volunteer schedule around your availability, and create an experience around your interest and schedule that you can commit to. We would like to suggest that you volunteer about 8 hours aweek unitl Feb 14, and on the day of the event, we will need you for 6-8 hours.
