This week I started work on cataloging all of the silent auction items for this year's honorarium. Much slower-paced than the food drive of last week but I got a lot of work done nonetheless. I set up an Excel spreadsheet, hunted down information for each of the donations, entered data into the spreadsheet, and created an easy-to-follow categorization system for the donations. I also got a look into some of the behind-the-scenes operations at the Center and met a lovely and friendly little dog :D. Overall a much different experience compared to last week but a fulfilling endeavor all the same. Excited to receive some more items to sort and get to the large physical item donations!
In this time, I did research using our unlv library scholarly sources to find multiple articles and sources that prove seniors need to step out and be more socially active to improve or stray away from depressive symptoms or depressive isolations. I also transferred emails onto a document to organize them.
collaborated with Sy and Pearla on the CCT project
Further communicated with Pearla (another Scholar) about revision, additional research on CCT, and awaiting project leader, Sy, to review and confirm work
Started researching for evidence-based practice articles/journals for all subtopics designated for individual completion, found within the CCT ppt. 7th ed. APA citations were made for all resources found.
