I had a great time and really enjoyed helping out all of the families who attended!

I greatly enjoyed this experience due to the rewarding nature of the service. The back to school bash was an event where autistic children could have their own sort of get together to celebrate the new school year. The kids were great and the whole event was well catered to the children. The few fun activities, which involved the most popular attraction, balloons showed that the simple things in life can be fun. The kids are always a large positive influence on anyone's life and it was definitely a great event to be a part of. My only complaint was that as many volunteering events it was overstaffed which led to a lot of standing around and idle time due to the massive amount of help. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but when I serve I like to be kept busy and always have something to help with.

The Back to School Bash with The Johnson Center was a very enlightening experience. I have never worked with disabled kids before, and it was a pleasure to be able to have done that today. The kids were all full of joy, and had a blast just being themselves in a safe environment. I thought all of the people that ran the service were very passionate about what they were doing, and it encouraged me to want to help out with the foundation more. I loved working with the kids, and hope to continue to volunteer with the Eagle Seals Central Texas.
