Bass Pro Fitness Series 2019 | Marathon - Sunday, November 3
Aid Stations are located every 2 miles on the race route. Volunteers at Aid Stations hand out water, snacks, and other drinks to the participants as they pass by. Below are all shifts for Aid Stations on Sunday, November 3. Shifts are listed by time and street intersection. Aid Stations need 8 volunteers - this is a great shift for groups wanting to volunteer together! Volunteer Training Night – Monday, October 28th at 6:00pm at Uncle Buck's Auditorium inside Bass Pro
All volunteers working along the race route on Sunday, November 3 must attend the Volunteer Training Night on October 28th at 6:00pm. As a volunteer along the race route, you will receive information on what your shift entails, what to look out for, and what to do in case of an emergency. You will also receive a handout with your specific volunteer instructions along with a race route map. Snacks will be provided! Attendance prizes will be given away! If you are unable to attend Volunteer Training Night on October 28th, please contact us at fitness@basspro.com.
**By attending Volunteer Training on Monday, October 28th, you can skip Volunteer Check-In on Sunday morning and go straight to your volunteer shift location. We want your experience to be as easy and fun as possible. By receiving information ahead of time, you will know exactly what to do on Sunday, November 3 and therefore have a more enjoyable experience.
All volunteers will receive a free t-shirt and entered into multiple prize drawings!
To pick up your t-shirt, report back to the John A and Genny Morris Conservation Center after your shift. Come between 11am and 2pm to also enjoy free pizza!
The aid station will need to be set up once you arrive and taken down before you leave. All trash and recycling will need to be sorted and organized.
