About

The Fayetteville Public Library needs volunteers for our outreach program called the Reading Roadshow. Do you like to spend time with kids? Do you want to channel your inner Children's librarian?

This volunteer opportunity is for you!

Volunteers will read once or twice per month to pre-school children at various pre-school facilities in Fayetteville. The volunteer is equipped with fun themed bags that include books, puppets, songs, etc. The reading sessions are scheduled once or twice per month at the same time and facility. The goal is to introduce the kiddos to books and the joy of reading. The volunteer will adopt a classroom for the school year. The reading sessions are about 20-30 minutes long and occur at 9:30am or 10:00am during the week. Very convenient and rewarding for the volunteer!
