Who We Are
  • The Advocacy Center for the Children of El Paso (ACCEP) is a Not for Profit (501C3) organization which facilitates the investigation and prosecution of cases of physical and sexual abuse of children. The ACCEP was established in 1996 and is a nationally accredited center.
What We Do
  • The ACCEP houses local agencies which investigate suspected cases of child abuse. These agencies include the El Paso Police Department, El Paso Sheriffs office, Child Protective Services, Child Care Licensing and County And District attorneys.
  • The ACCEP provides a safe environment for children during the investigation and assists with Forensic interviews, care packages to include food and clothing, and referrals for and transportation to counseling.
  • The ACCEP also conducts community outreach training on issues of child abuse as well as the Happy Bear program aimed at pre-K to 1st graders on learning to say "no and to report bullying and unwelcome touching.
