AbleTalks is a tuition free, independent, continuing education for young adults with autism and other disabilities. . AbleTalks supports students as they set, and achieve, their career goals through individualized independent study, counseling, and social supports.
Our students are entrepreneurs who would love to discuss their dreams and goals from their perspective. We consider AbleStudents to be the experts of their own lives. This is a unique opportunity. Come get valuable life and work experience interacting interacting with, and learning from, our students.
AbleTalks needs volunteers for direct and indirect interaction with our students. This is a really fun position that allows you to get valuable experience working with adults with autism and other disabilities.
1 in 68 children are diagnosed with autism each year. For that reason volunteering with us will give important life experience for everyone, no matter the major or background.
