About
Description | Watershed UGA is a town/gown stream restoration and protection initiative aimed at engaging the campus community in sustainability through watersheds. We want to create a social infrastructure that facilitates the use of the UGA campus as a living laboratory while promoting experiential learning, research, and public service and outreach. Our streams have been out of sight and out of mind for too long, and we hope to bring awareness and a sense of stewardship towards our local watersheds. Thank you to the Ray Anderson Foundation for Watershed UGA's initial funding and additional funding to take us into year two! |
